wedding shower

These are just a few pictures from my brother's wedding shower he's getting married in Cabo in Novemeber so i'm pretty excited for that. Anyways, I designed the invitations for the shower and my mom glued them all together. I forgot to take a picture of them before they got sent out but this is a picture of the table with all the cupcakes we made for the shower. My mom made the towel cake in the background as well.

This card is a little delayed going onto my blog but it was for my boyfriends birthday at the beginning of august. I got him a fishing pole and a fishing purse ( or whatever you hold all your fishing gear in....satchel.) and all kinds of fun fishing tools like bait and fish eggs. I figured this card would go along nicely with his present. I used my new cricut imagine to print the paper and used simply charmed and birthday bash cartridges.

This was a card I made for my friend in June. He is moving to New York so I made him some home made cookies and a cute little card to go with it! I used straight from the nest and elegant edges, DCWV paper, ribbon and some jewels.

I haven't posted in FOREVER. I have been way busy! I got a new job at the IHC hospital and I've been working full time and going to school full time. Anyways, I made this card for my old boss at abercrombie. She got a promotion so I made her a cute little congrats card! I made this a while ago so I can't remember everything I used.

I did faux stitching around the layout, I used distress ink, glossy accents, googly eyes, and added some ribbon!

Wedding Present!

This is my wedding present for my old friend Lindsey! The cake is made out of towels that I rolled up and 2 different colored ribbon. then I just bought fake flowers and cut them up and pinned them to the cake. The card is simple, I just cut the cake from simply charmed added a ribbon and some scrap paper.

Thank You Cards!

Josh needed 7 Thank You cards for his internship so I whipped out 7 today! I can't explain how I made every single card because it will take me waaaaaaaaaaay to long. The cartridges I used were create a critter and simply charmed. mainly simply charmed though, cause it's my new one and I wanted to use it! If you have any questions about how I made any of the cards feel free to ask!

Easter Cupcakes

My mom and I made these cupcakes so we could practice for my brother's wedding! I cut out the carrot and the bunny from create a critter and the cute little chick with simply charmed. Then just added some googly eyes :)

Hiking Page :)

I love love love this :) it's my first big layout because I just bought the Cricute Expression!!! (I had the baby cricut before) anyway, I have some pictures of me and my mom hiking that i'm going to put on this! The cartidges I used were Straight from the Nest, Simply Charmed (just bought!!), Create a critter, Accent Essentials and George! I embossed the grass and the "hiking" sign with swiss dots! I used a bunch of different paper if you have any questions about it just ask i'm not very good at explaining!

Summer Funzies!

This is a layout I made of me and my friends at indoor surfing! If you live in Utah you truely need to go indoor surfing, it's the funnest! :) I decided to use the "Life's a Beach" cartridge because I hardly ever use it and it was feeling neglected!

Ok, I'm sorry I haven't been updating my blog all this week! I've been way busy with a giant test and nursing school business! but I'm not giving up on my blog! I'll be better! This week I didn't get around to making any cute spring cards or pages but I went spring shopping today :) I got thee cutest outfit ever! I just don't know when i'm going to wear it, cause it's to fancy for school.. so I was thinking maybe at summer baseball game or something! ha anyway it's way cute! I got it from Nordstrom!

Let Our Love Grow!

Hello Scrappers! This is my cute little layout that I made of me and Josh! It's small but it's ok! I used the Straight from the Nest cartridge for the tree. For the flower I cut 1 1in. circle, and 3 1.5in. cirlces from George as well as the "Let our love" part of the sentiment. Then I used Winter Woodland for the scalloped circle, I cut 3 of those at 2in. It looks simple! but it kinda took me a while haha, maybe I'm just slow!

Scrapbook USA!

Hello Everyone! Yesterday I went to a scrapbook convention! of course, this is Utah... what else is there to do! anyways, I went nuts! I bought so much fun scrapbook stuff! but... I got good deals! I got 2 12x12 SEI paper stacks, 2 packs of buttons, 1 pack of brads, 4 packs of cardstock lettering, 2 cuddlebug embossers, and 47 spools of ribbon! For 40 bucks! Bargain! There were so many people there! who knew that scrapbooking was so popular! The picture that I took is only 1/4 of the Expo Center. I can't wait for the next scrabook convention in September!

Hello Everyone! I decided to make this card for fun, because Joanns was having a sale so I bought some paper! :) How exciting? I know! I used my Gypsy to make the window card and the Sweat Treats cartridge. The sentiment says "Sprinkled with Fun" it's kinda hard to read :/. I got the idea for this card from here

Another Birthday Card. . .

Today was my day off work so I decided to make another birthday card! It's for my boyfriend's mom, they have a poodle so I thought it'd be perfect for her! This is just a simple card, but still cute! It's 4 by 8 in. the four squares are 1.8 by 1.8 in. and the poodle is 2.5 in. I used create a critter and george. The sentiment says "I hope your birthday is poodles of fun!"

Birthday Cards

Last week was my mom and dad's birthday. Their birthday's are a day apart so I was able to make two cards :) The orange card was for my mom, the snail card for my dad. My mom's birthday card was made with give a hoot and straight from the nest. My dad's card was made with create a critter, straight from the nest, and george.

New Blog!

This is my new blog! I had a blog like 3 years ago but I decided to delete it and make a new one! I'm excited to post my scrapbooking projects on here! I'm not much of a writer and I'd rather use this blog to show my creativity with paper... like scrapbooking instead :)
